You probably have not heard about Katherine Commale and her compassion for others

I was one of those that would have said, “who?”.
Until my 班长 introduced to the class the story of Katherine Commale - the girl who started raising money for mosquito nets in African villages when she was 5 and became a spokesperson for a U.N.-affiliated philanthropy called Nothing But Nets .

She is in youth now and she is a hero in Taiwan where she is an inspiration not just for her compassion but also as an example of how parents can help get their children to do more charitable work.

I think Singapore could do with more of such positive examples!
