What do I do with burnt incense at home?

I have been making incense offerings to my small Buddha statue at home. But after a while, the ashes from the incense has piled up and is going to overflow my incense pot soon. What should I do with the ashes from the burnt incense?

I am not sure about what to do with the ashes also.
I use a electric light at home.

Above suggestions are acceptable, as long as we treat the ashes respectfully (which also applies to all offering items such as withered flowers, at least separate it from normal trash).
