“为什么听法的时候会不专心呢?大家想一想。说:我有事情啊、我身体不舒服啊…,有诸多的理由…”
“从小学、幼儿园的时候,上学就训练这个——全神贯注。我们平常滑手机的时候全神贯注吗?通常滑手机走路都撞东西,别人叫你也听不到,那就是全神贯注。”

为什么我们对清净的“离苦得乐之道”的吸引远不如滑手机那么容易全神贯注?
那该怎么办?您有对治之道吗?

法师引导:
因为我们并不真的了解,不能体会到处在苦的状态,只是在五官这种感受上随风转。对于佛法上很难去体会到自利利他对我们生命的利益。那怎么办呢?其实关键对治之道,就是要去思维。

在滑手机当下的确是被那个感受所蒙蔽。一旦透过听闻佛法稍作思考就会得知,哪个是真正能够帮助我们离苦得乐的。并且常提醒自己勿忘失生命的宗旨目标。

I was pretty addicted to mobile phone games many years back.
To the extent that I would get into a foul mood whenever my playing time was curtailed due to family or work responsibilities.
I was hooked on the short-lived joy but blind to the long-term negative consequences.

After learning Lamrim and Buddhism, I started contemplating more on the purpose of this life. I begin to see the pointlessness of many of the activities I was doing.

That was when I knew I should quit and devote my time to something meaningful.
