It was a programme showcasing temples in Taiwan.
One of the episodes featured 新竹鳳山寺.
Through the programme, many of Master Ri-Chang’s merits were highlighted.

Some Characteristics of Master and Teacher as Mahayana Excellent Teachers:
1/ Master and Teacher teach us Lamrim Chenmo, which is “the system for supreme beings (layman with very good virtuous roots) progressing to the state of omniscience.”
2/ In all their discourse, Master and Teacher always remind us of our objective of learning the teachings, that is to achieve Buddhahood. (Three trainings: Discipline, Concentration and Wisdom are explained in terms of achieving this objective)
3/ Disciples of Master and Teacher ranges from beginners to Tripitaka Masters (Geshes); from kindergarten children to elderly in their nineties
4/ Methods of leading sentient beings to Buddhahood are very varied; ranges from healthy food to Five Great Treatise, Samatha and Vipassana
5/ Taught us methods to accumulate merits and wisdom, clear obscurations.
6/ Master and Teacher has vowed that they will lead and accompany their disciples all the way to Buddhahood
7/ Master and Teacher have setup an environment where disciples can come back and continue to learn life after life
