“Om Ah Hum” has the meaning of purifying and increasing. When making offerings, we chant “Om Ah Hum”, while at the same time visualize that all the items offered are being purified and increased in their quantity, extending till the limitless and boundless.
When such motivation arises within us, and we recite it with seriousness, a great strength will be generated.
